Roberto Badò lives in Milan, Italy. He has a degree in Communications (Film) and Economics from the University of California, San Diego. He started working in advertising in the US for Armando Testa NY. He then moved back to Italy where he worked for BGS following the Swatch account, covering many roles in the agency, Account Executive, Copywriter, Art Director and Producer. He was then called by Wieden & Kennedy/Amsterdam to lead manage advertising in Italy, primarily for Nike, Coca Cola, Microsoft and Benelli Scooters.
He took up commercial directing in order to pursue his passion: shooting real people and telling intimate stories. For the past twelve years, he's trotted the globe creating pieces of film for clients around the world. When he's not living out of a packed suitcase, he divides his time between family, fishing, collecting records, good food and movies. He's good to go in Italian, French, English and a little Spanish.
